Sombr, the 20-year-old alternative pop sensation, is set to embark on his inaugural North American arena tour, marking a major milestone in his rapidly ascending career. The “You Are the Reason” tour will span 37 arenas across the continent, running through October and November 2026.
Fans can expect an intimate yet high-energy show, reminiscent of the performances that earned Sombr widespread acclaim on the festival circuit. Born Shane Michael Boose, the artist quickly gained a devoted fanbase following the release of his debut album, I Barely Know Her, in August 2025. His recent Coachella appearance, which featured a surprise collaboration with Billy Corgan performing “1979,” further cemented his status as a formidable presence in the music scene.
At just 20 years old, Sombr is achieving what few artists manage so early: transitioning from smaller clubs and theaters to large-scale arenas. The tour kicks off in Vancouver on September 29 and moves through key cities including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix. Mid-October sees the tour hitting Texas with stops in Houston, Dallas, and Austin before continuing through the Northeast and South, culminating in a headline performance at Madison Square Garden on November 23.
Each stop will showcase a rotating lineup of supporting acts tailored to the local audience. The British band The Last Dinner Party will accompany Sombr for most of the U.S. dates, while the acclaimed post-punk revival group Interpol will make select appearances. Actress-turned-musician Dove Cameron will join the final leg in November, and Tom Odell will perform during the California shows. Additional supporting artists include King Princess, Balu Brigada, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu, offering fans a diverse mix of emerging and established talent across genres.
Sombr expressed his enthusiasm on Instagram, describing the tour as “a very special show” and encouraging fans to catch his performances early in the schedule. After arriving in Seattle on October 1, he will perform in Portland, Sacramento, San Jose, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Arizona throughout the first half of October. The tour then moves through Texas cities including Oklahoma City, Houston, Dallas, and Austin from October 16 to 20, before heading to Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, and Charlotte.
All venues selected for the tour are prominent civic centers or arenas known for their excellent acoustics and fan experience, ensuring that attendees receive top-quality performances at every stop.
