The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised Pakistanis living abroad to keep their personal details away from unauthorized individuals and organizations that claim to be linked to the authority.
NADRA said it has not approved any consultants, agents or dealers to process identity documents or submit online applications on its behalf.
Official channels for overseas Pakistanis
According to the authority, services for overseas Pakistanis are available at NADRA Registration Centers and at counters set up in Pakistani embassies abroad. A list of these locations is posted on its official website.
Its online services, NADRA said, are offered only through the Pak ID mobile app and websites ending in gov.pk. It urged citizens abroad to stay alert and avoid sharing information with anyone falsely claiming to represent the agency.
