Our desks
Newsora24 publishes through desks, one for each section: Pakistan, Politics, World, Business, Sports, Entertainment, Technology and Health. Each story carries the name of the desk that published it. See Our Desks.
Sources
Our stories are based on reports from established news outlets and on official statements from governments, courts, police, sports bodies and other institutions. We prefer stories that more than one outlet reports. We attribute claims to the people and institutions who made them, and we do not present opinion as fact.
How we use artificial intelligence
Newsora24 uses AI tools to help prepare stories. The AI reads the source reports and writes a new article in our style, using only the facts in those reports. Our rules for the AI are strict:
- It must not invent facts, quotes or figures.
- It must keep attribution (“police said”, “the court ruled”).
- Text too close to the original report is rejected, so we do not copy other outlets.
- Very short source reports are skipped, so we do not publish thin stories.
Some article images are generated by AI. They illustrate the topic and do not show the real event; images inside articles are labelled “AI-generated illustration”.
Editorial oversight
Stories are published by our desks as they are prepared. Our editors continuously monitor published stories: they check facts, headlines and images, and they correct, update or remove stories that do not meet our standards.
Developing stories
When a story develops, we may add the new facts to the existing article rather than publish a separate story. The article’s headline and address stay the same, and its “updated” time changes.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it as quickly as possible. A correction that changes the meaning of a story is noted at the end of the article with the date. To report an error, email [email protected] with the link to the story and what is wrong.
Advertising
Newsora24 decides what to publish on news value. Any advertising or sponsored content will be clearly labelled and kept separate from our news.
