Newsora24 is an English-language news website based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We started in 2026 with one aim: to give readers in Pakistan and abroad clear, accurate and fast news about the country and the world, in plain language and without clutter.
What we cover
Our work is organised in desks, one for each section of the site: Pakistan, Politics, World, Business, Sports, Entertainment, Technology and Health. Each desk follows its subject through the day and publishes the stories of its section. You can see every desk, and all of its stories, on our Our Desks page.
Alongside the news, Newsora24 offers everyday tools: currency and gold rates, petrol prices, prayer times, the Islamic calendar, weather, live cricket scores, and tax and Zakat calculators.
How we work
Our stories are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence, using reports from several news outlets, and are published by our desks. Our editors continuously monitor published stories and correct or remove anything that is wrong. Our Editorial Policy explains this process in full, including how we handle corrections.
Our principles
- Accuracy first. Facts come from the reports we use, and we attribute statements to the people and institutions who made them.
- Clarity. Short, plain articles that tell readers what happened and why it matters.
- Independence. We report the news without taking sides.
- Openness. We are clear about how our stories are made, and we fix mistakes in the open.
