Islamabad Condemns India’s ‘Old Tactics’ and Warns Against Operation Sindoor 2.0

Diplomatic relations between Pakistan and India have escalated sharply amid reports of a possible new military initiative dubbed ‘Operation Sindoor 2.0’. Pakistani intelligence agencies have alerted the federal government about New Delhi’s alleged preparations for another cross-border military operation, coinciding with the first anniversary of the May 2025 conflict in the region.

Pakistani security officials have accused India of reviving outdated strategies by exploiting external incidents to justify domestic political agendas and aggressive actions along the border. Drawing parallels to the original Operation Sindoor launched in May 2025, which India defended by citing the Pahalgam incident, Islamabad suggests that India is once again attempting to create a pretext for conflict.

Officials emphasize that these tactics are transparent attempts to shift global focus away from India’s internal challenges while rationalizing military build-ups that jeopardize regional peace and stability. Islamabad has issued a firm warning, asserting its sovereign right to defend itself with a robust and uncompromising military doctrine.

Unlike previous occasions where Pakistan exercised strategic restraint to avoid escalating tensions, the government has made it clear that any attempt to initiate ‘Sindoor 2.0’ will be met with a decisive and unrestrained response. Military leadership has reiterated that all options remain available to safeguard the nation’s people and territorial sovereignty.

As Pakistan marks the professional excellence demonstrated during the Marka-e-Haq operation, the message to New Delhi is unmistakable: any hostile designs will be countered with greater precision and determination than ever before, underscoring Islamabad’s resolve to maintain peace through strength.
