In a bizarre incident in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram area, a young boy became trapped between a metal rolling shutter and a wall while allegedly attempting to break into a clinic. The event took place in the Abhay Khand locality, where clinic staff discovered the shutter stuck when they arrived to open the premises in the morning.
Initially, the staff assumed the shutter was jammed due to a mechanical fault. However, their concern grew after hearing faint groaning sounds from inside the clinic. This prompted them to alert the police and fire department, who responded promptly to the unusual situation.
Rescue personnel accessed the clinic from the rear and found the boy wedged in a narrow gap, with part of his body inside the clinic and his head tightly caught between the shutter and the adjacent wall. Using ladders and specialized tools, the team carefully carried out the rescue operation.
A video that has since gone viral shows the teenager with facial injuries and bruises receiving first aid before being transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities confirmed that his condition is stable and he is out of danger.
Preliminary investigations indicate the boy may have attempted to enter the clinic during the night, possibly with the intent to steal. It appears he became stuck while trying to squeeze through a partially raised shutter and was unable to free himself.
Police are continuing their inquiries to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and to determine if others were involved. They are also investigating whether this was indeed an attempted robbery or if other factors played a role.
The viral video has sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users expressed concern for the boy’s wellbeing, others responded with humor, sharing memes related to the incident. The event has also ignited discussions about urban security measures, surveillance, and the underlying causes of youth involvement in criminal activities.
