Salman Agha climbs to 12th in ICC ODI batting rankings

Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha has moved up one spot to 12th in the latest ICC ODI batting rankings, while Arafat Minhas has leapt 33 places to 83rd in the bowling table.

Agha’s rise follows a return to form after a difficult spell in Test cricket against England, which hosted Pakistan for a three-match series.

Agha’s comeback after being dropped from Test squad

Agha was left out of Pakistan’s Test squad after the second Test at Lord’s, which ended on August 31, 2026. He then bounced back in the President’s Trophy Grade-I, hitting an unbeaten triple century against MIT Solutions on September 13, 2026.

Rizwan, Fakhar and Saim fall in batting rankings

Mohammad Rizwan has slipped four places to 34th in the ODI batting rankings, while Fakhar Zaman has dropped three to 44th and Saim Ayub has fallen eight places to 58th.

The declines followed modest returns for Fakhar and Saim in the first two tri-series matches. Fakhar scored 16 against Sri Lanka on October 18 before being dismissed for a duck against England on October 20, while Saim managed seven and eight runs.

Babar Azam has retained seventh position. He scored 45 runs against Sri Lanka in Pakistan’s opening match, taking his career ODI tally beyond 6,000 runs.
