This remarkable comeback has intensified the championship race, as Martin closes the gap to his teammate and current series leader, Marco Bezzecchi.
Starting from pole position, Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia put in a strong performance to finish second, while Bezzecchi managed to secure third place. Although Bezzecchi maintained his lead in the overall standings, his margin has been significantly reduced following Martin’s victory. This development sets the stage for an exciting main race on Sunday, with Martin now trailing Bezzecchi by just six points.
