NADRA Introduces Home Application for B-Form with Updated Fees

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Pakistan has introduced a new facility enabling parents to apply for their children’s B-Form, also known as the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), from the comfort of their homes. This initiative allows applications to be submitted through the Pak-ID mobile application, significantly reducing the need for physical visits to NADRA registration centers.

In a notable update, children under the age of three are no longer required to submit a photograph when applying for the B-Form. However, once a child reaches the age of three, providing a photo becomes mandatory. Meanwhile, children aged between 10 and 18 must now complete biometric verification, which includes fingerprint and iris scans, as part of enhanced identity security measures.

Regarding fees, the standard B-Form application costs Rs. 50 and typically takes seven days to process. For those requiring faster service, an executive option is available at Rs. 500, guaranteeing processing within one day. NADRA has confirmed that the standard fee and processing time will remain unchanged, ensuring accessibility while offering expedited service for urgent needs.
