    Pakistan has issued a serious warning regarding the rapid depletion of its underground water reserves, a vital source for agriculture and daily consumption. This alarming trend threatens the sustainability of water supply across the country, particularly in rural and farming communities that heavily depend on groundwater. The depletion is driven by over-extraction, inefficient water management, and climate change impacts, exacerbating the water scarcity crisis.
