Lee Najjar, famously known as the elusive “Big Poppa” from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has passed away at the age of 68. His death occurred on April 18, as confirmed by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner. Najjar’s daughter, Katelin Najjar, shared the news through heartfelt Instagram posts, reflecting on their cherished moments together. One message highlighted her appreciation for the cards he used to write, which held great sentimental value for her.

Najjar gained widespread recognition during the early seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where he was a recurring but largely unseen figure referred to as “Big Poppa” in connection with Kim Zolciak’s storyline. Despite playing a significant role in the show’s drama, Najjar’s identity remained largely concealed, adding an air of mystery that intrigued fans.

His relationship with Zolciak was a focal point in the series’ initial seasons, especially as she credited him with supporting her extravagant lifestyle. However, this romance also sparked controversy among the cast, with questions raised about Najjar’s personal life and relationship status at the time.

It was reported that Najjar was still married to his wife, Kim Najjar, during his involvement with Zolciak. The couple had four children together. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed publicly.

In a significant development, Najjar’s passing has reignited interest in one of the show’s most enigmatic figures, prompting fans to revisit the storyline that contributed to the early success of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
