    In a significant development during the 21st fixture of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bowl first against the current leaders, Peshawar Zalmi. The match took place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Monday, attracting considerable attention from cricket enthusiasts eager to witness this high-profile contest.

    The rivalry between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi has been a highlight of the PSL tournaments, with the two teams having faced each other 18 times prior to this encounter. Notably, Multan Sultans have maintained a dominant edge in these clashes, securing 11 victories compared to Peshawar Zalmi’s seven wins.     On the other side, Multan Sultans fielded a strong team led by captain Ashton Turner, supported by Steve Smith, Sahibzada Farhan, Shan Masood, Muhammad Nawaz, and wicketkeeper Josh Philippe. The bowling attack included Peter Siddle, Arafat Minhas, Muhammad Ismail, Muhammad Waseem Jr, and Faisal Akram, all poised to challenge Peshawar Zalmi’s batting order.
