Defending champions Pakistan U19 will open their campaign at the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026 against the UAE on Friday, 6 November, at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat. The tournament begins in Oman on Thursday, 5 November.

The eight-team, 50-over event is divided into two groups. Pakistan, the UAE, India and Nepal are in Group A, while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia are in Group B.

Pakistan’s group fixtures in Oman

After the opener, Pakistan will face India on Sunday, 8 November, before completing their group stage against Nepal on Tuesday, 10 November. The fixtures are:

  • 6 November – Pakistan v UAE, OCA Ground 2
  • 8 November – Pakistan v India, OCA Ground 1
  • 10 November – Pakistan v Nepal, OCA Ground 1

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals on Thursday, 12 November. The final is scheduled for Saturday, 14 November.

Farhan Yousaf leads the defending champions

Pakistan will be captained by Farhan Yousaf, who also led the side in the previous edition, when Pakistan beat India by 191 runs at the ICC Cricket Academy Ground in Dubai. The 15-man squad includes two wicketkeepers, Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor.

Speaking exclusively to PCB Digital, Yousaf said the preparations had been “progressing really well”. He credited the PCB’s initiative to send the team to Oman early, saying it had allowed them to assess the weather, pitches and playing conditions.

“As defending champions, we understand the responsibility that comes with the title,” he said. He added that the team wanted to carry forward last year’s positives and described the squad’s morale as “very high”.
