13 India-backed Terrorists Killed in Foiled Infiltration Attempts on Pak-Afghan Border

Security forces successfully repelled two infiltration attempts along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, eliminating 13 Indian-backed terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during separate operations conducted on April 28 and 29.

In Mohmand district, troops detected the movement of a group of Fitna al-Khawarij militants attempting to cross the border. The forces engaged the militants with precision, resulting in the deaths of eight terrorists affiliated with the Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij group.

Meanwhile, in North Waziristan district, security personnel thwarted another infiltration bid by a group of FAK militants. Following an intense exchange of fire, five terrorists were neutralized during the operation.

These incidents reinforce Pakistan’s consistent position on the failure of the Afghan Taliban regime to effectively manage the border on their side. The Afghan Taliban are urged to meet their responsibilities by preventing the use of Afghan territory by militants and stopping their citizens from engaging in terrorism within Pakistan.

The Pakistani security forces remain steadfast in their dedication to safeguarding the nation’s borders.

In a related development, security forces have launched sanitization operations aimed at eliminating any remaining Indian-backed militants in the region. The ongoing counter-terrorism campaign, conducted under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” and endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will persist at full strength to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
