PESCO Sanctions Salary, Allowance, and Pension Increments for Employees

The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has officially sanctioned an increase in salaries, allowances, and pensions for its employees. This decision reflects the organization’s commitment to enhancing the financial well-being of its staff amid rising living costs. The approval is expected to positively impact employee morale and productivity across the company.

Notably, the salary revisions and allowance increments come at a time when utility companies face operational challenges and increased demand for reliable power supply. By addressing compensation concerns, PESCO aims to retain skilled personnel and ensure uninterrupted service delivery. The pension hike also provides long-term security for retired employees, reinforcing the company’s dedication to its workforce beyond active service.

In a significant development for the energy sector workforce, PESCO’s move aligns with broader trends of revising compensation packages in public utilities to match inflation and economic conditions. This adjustment is likely to set a precedent for other regional power distribution companies to follow suit. Ultimately, these measures contribute to stabilizing the sector’s human resource framework and supporting sustainable energy distribution in the region.
