    Armed Forces Extend Independence Day Greetings, Reaffirm Commitment

    Pakistan’s Armed Forces have extended warm congratulations to the nation on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day. They reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to protect the country’s sovereignty, uphold the Constitution, and safeguard national interests.

    The joint message was conveyed by Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, representing the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

    In a significant development, the military leadership paid homage to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding fathers, and all those whose sacrifices led to Pakistan’s creation. Their vision, bravery, and determination continue to guide and inspire Pakistanis to uphold the nation’s core principles and ideals.

    Meanwhile, the Armed Forces also honored the country’s martyrs, veterans, law enforcement officials, and all citizens who have served the nation. Their courage and dedication have reinforced Pakistan’s resilience and contributed to securing its independence, safety, and national interests.

    The statement reiterated the military’s commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats. It emphasized the importance of upholding the Constitution and fulfilling the trust placed in the armed forces by the people of Pakistan.

    Furthermore, the Armed Forces pledged to work alongside the nation to maintain peace and stability while fostering an environment conducive to national development and prosperity.

    “As guardians of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Armed Forces reaffirm their unwavering resolve to defend the motherland against all threats, uphold the Constitution, and discharge the sacred trust reposed in them by the people of Pakistan,” the message declared.

    The military leadership highlighted that Pakistan’s strength lies in the unity and collective determination of its people. It urged citizens to renew their dedication to the principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline, promote national cohesion, encourage tolerance, and strive for a secure, stable, and prosperous Pakistan.

    The statement concluded with strong expressions of solidarity and patriotism, proclaiming: “Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad! Pakistan Hamesha Paindabad!”
