Pakistan is moving forward with plans to establish a dedicated secretariat for the Prime Minister’s Youth Program in China. This initiative reflects Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening youth engagement and fostering closer ties with China. The secretariat will serve as a hub for coordinating youth-related activities and initiatives between the two countries.

In a significant development, the establishment of this secretariat is expected to facilitate greater collaboration in education, skills development, and cultural exchange programs. It aligns with broader efforts under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework, which emphasizes people-to-people connectivity alongside infrastructure projects. The secretariat will likely play a crucial role in implementing youth empowerment strategies and creating new opportunities for young Pakistanis in China.

Meanwhile, this move underscores the importance Pakistan places on its strategic partnership with China, particularly in nurturing the next generation. By institutionalizing youth cooperation, both nations aim to build a foundation for sustainable development and mutual understanding. The secretariat’s creation marks a milestone in bilateral relations, promising long-term benefits for youth engagement and regional collaboration.
