    Shafquat Wadho Appointed as Member of IRSA Sindh by Government

    The government has officially appointed Shafquat Wadho as the Member of the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) for Sindh. This position is critical in overseeing the distribution and management of water resources among provinces, ensuring equitable water sharing as per legal frameworks. IRSA plays a vital role in managing Pakistan’s water supply, which is essential for agriculture, industry, and domestic use, particularly in water-scarce regions like Sindh.

    Shafquat Wadho’s appointment comes at a time when water management challenges are intensifying due to climate change and increasing demand.
