Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu has praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its pivotal and resolute role in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty during a ceremony at Air Headquarters marking the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
Speaking to the assembled personnel, the Air Chief commended the operational excellence of the PAF, emphasizing that its prompt and effective response to external threats has firmly established the force as a powerful protector of Pakistan’s aerial borders.
In a comprehensive address, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu revisited the circumstances that led to the conflict, noting that India had made unfounded accusations against Pakistan following a false-flag incident in Pahalgam. Despite Pakistan’s willingness to allow an impartial inquiry, India opted for aggression, which was met with a rapid and forceful counterattack.
The Air Chief described the PAF’s performance as historic, highlighting that the force successfully struck all targeted enemy installations and caused substantial damage to India’s air defense infrastructure in an exceptionally short timeframe.
He further asserted that the PAF’s operational reach extended from Srinagar to Bathinda, delivering a significant setback to the Indian Air Force. The Air Marshal detailed how the PAF neutralized advanced fighter jets and the S-400 air defense system within moments.
Addressing the evolution of contemporary warfare, he spotlighted the success of “Operation Bunyanun Marsus,” which showcased the PAF’s sophisticated drone capabilities. Additionally, he acknowledged the efforts of Pakistan’s cyber experts, who dismantled the adversary’s digital defenses, securing comprehensive dominance across aerial, electronic, and cyber warfare domains.
