ISLAMABAD: On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering dedication to eliminating terrorism from the region. He highlighted that Pakistan’s ongoing operations within Afghanistan are strategically aimed at dismantling terrorist networks that threaten regional stability and security. This firm stance reflects the country’s broader commitment to safeguarding its citizens and neighboring states from extremist violence.
Speaking on the occasion of Pakistan’s National Day, Senator Dar acknowledged the difficult economic and political climate shaped by persistent regional conflicts. He expressed optimism that despite the austerity measures the government has implemented to navigate these turbulent times, the nation’s foundational values of unity, faith, and discipline will continue to guide Pakistan through these challenges.
