PESHAWAR: Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) and FATA University agreed on Thursday to fund 50 scholarships for deserving students who need help paying for their studies. The arrangement emerged from a meeting between PBM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director Dr Lal Badshah and Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohsin Nawaz, held during the director’s visit to the campus.
Both sides plan to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) soon to formalise the programme and deepen cooperation for students facing financial difficulties.
Talks cover student needs and higher education
The meeting also reviewed students’ educational needs, financial assistance and ways to promote higher education. Administrative officers from both institutions attended, along with Agriculture University Peshawar Director Sports Muhammad Bilal Marwat.
