In a distressing incident that has shocked the community, a local court in Sargodha ordered the physical remand of four individuals for six days in connection with the alleged attempted rape and murder of a seven-year-old girl. The suspects were presented before a senior civil judge on Tuesday following their arrest by police authorities.

The arrests came after the tragic discovery of the young girl’s body in a grocery store, which intensified the investigation. Police officials confirmed that the prime suspect was apprehended late Monday night, while three additional suspects, including the owner of the grocery store implicated in the case, were also taken into custody. This development marks a significant step in the ongoing inquiry.

Notably, the victim’s father formally identified the four accused in the first information report (FIR) filed with local law enforcement. This FIR laid the groundwork for the swift action taken by the police to detain the suspects and pursue further investigation. The court’s approval of the six-day physical remand aims to facilitate comprehensive questioning and evidence gathering.

Meanwhile, the community remains deeply affected by the incident, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced measures to protect vulnerable children. Authorities have pledged to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served in this heartbreaking case.
