Trump Condemns Journalist in Heated Interview Over Shooting Case Allegations

President Donald Trump launched a fierce attack on CBS journalist Norah O’Donnell during a recent “60 Minutes” interview, following her questions about statements attributed to Cole Allen, the suspect in a case connected to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner security incident.

O’Donnell referenced excerpts reportedly found in a manifesto linked to Allen, highlighting passages where the accused allegedly labeled government officials as “targets” and leveled severe accusations against the president, including terms such as “pedophile, rapist, and traitor,” implying a violent intent.

In a significant development, Trump forcefully rejected these allegations and criticized the manner in which the questions were posed. He stated, “I was waiting for you to read that… because you’re horrible people,” dismissing the claims and asserting, “I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody.” He repeatedly condemned O’Donnell as “disgraceful” for raising these points during the interview.

The interaction grew increasingly confrontational as Trump challenged the validity of the questions and urged the journalist to feel “ashamed” for citing the suspect’s alleged remarks. This exchange underscored the heightened tensions surrounding the case and the president’s response to the accusations.
