On the occasion of Pakistan Day, the senior leadership of the country’s Armed Forces reiterated their steadfast dedication to defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and maintaining internal security. This solemn commitment was highlighted in a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday, emphasizing the military’s ongoing resolve to confront and eliminate threats that challenge the nation’s peace and stability.

The press release underscored that the Pakistan Army remains united and resolute in its mission to counter terrorism and other forms of aggression. Despite the persistent challenges posed by extremist elements, the Armed Forces continue to prioritize the protection of the country’s territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens. This unwavering stance reflects the military’s crucial role in upholding national security amid a complex and evolving security landscape.

Leading the message of unity and strength were Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. Together, they extended their warm congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the 86th anniversary of Pakistan Day, celebrated annually on March 23. This day holds immense historical significance as it marks the Lahore Resolution of 1940, a pivotal moment that laid the foundation for the eventual creation of an independent Pakistan.

The ISPR statement reflected on the symbolic importance of March 23, describing it as a day that embodies the collective vision and determination of the Pakistani people. Rooted deeply in faith and sustained by hope and resilience, this historic date continues to inspire the nation’s ongoing journey toward progress and unity. The military leadership emphasized that Pakistan’s strength lies in its democratic institutions, which must be fortified alongside efforts to ensure security and public welfare.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted Pakistan’s evolving role on the international stage as a responsible and principled member of the global community. The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace, stability, and cooperation beyond national borders, reflecting Pakistan’s broader diplomatic and strategic objectives. This message of unity and forward momentum was conveyed with a sense of optimism, underscoring the country’s determination to overcome challenges and achieve lasting prosperity.

In conclusion, the military leadership expressed confidence that, as one nation, Pakistan will continue to advance with resilience and unwavering resolve. The Armed Forces’ pledge to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and security remains a cornerstone of national strength, ensuring that Pakistan remains prepared to face any threats to its peace and development.
