In a significant diplomatic exchange, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a detailed telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. This dialogue took place amid rising concerns over escalating tensions in the region, highlighting the urgency for dialogue and peaceful resolution.

During their conversation, Ishaq Dar conveyed Pakistan’s serious apprehensions regarding the current volatile situation in the region. He underscored the importance of immediate de-escalation measures to prevent further deterioration of peace and stability. Both leaders emphasized the critical role of respecting international law as a foundation for resolving disputes and maintaining order in the international community.

The discussion also reaffirmed the historically strong and friendly relations between Pakistan and Egypt, two nations that have long shared mutual respect and cooperation on various fronts. Ishaq Dar and Badr Abdelatty agreed on the necessity of continuing close coordination and regular consultations to address not only bilateral matters but also broader regional challenges.

It is worth noting that the call reflects Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to engage with key regional partners in order to foster dialogue and promote peace. Both countries acknowledged that sustained collaboration could contribute positively to regional stability and help mitigate conflicts that threaten security and development.

As the geopolitical landscape remains complex, such high-level communications between Pakistan and Egypt serve as a reminder of the importance of diplomacy in navigating sensitive issues. The two foreign ministers committed to maintaining open channels of communication and working together in international forums to support peace initiatives.
