Iran Mobilizes Military and Nation Following Supreme Leader Khamenei’s Death

In the wake of the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranian authorities have issued stern warnings of robust retaliation targeting the United States and Israel. This development marks a significant escalation in Tehran’s military posture, as it prepares to launch a series of strategic operations in response to what it describes as a grave provocation against the nation’s highest authority.

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament condemned the attack as a blatant violation of a “red line,” emphasizing that such aggression will provoke severe consequences. He revealed that “Operation True Promise 4” was executed mere hours after Khamenei’s death, signaling the swift and decisive nature of Iran’s response. Furthermore, he indicated that the country’s armed forces have only partially mobilized their full capabilities, suggesting that additional military actions against American bases and Israeli targets are imminent and will continue in the coming days.

In an effort to maintain political stability during this critical period, the Speaker also announced the formation of a temporary leadership council in accordance with the Iranian constitution. This council is intended to reinforce the unity between the government and the Iranian people, ensuring a cohesive national front as the country navigates this turbulent chapter.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council underscored the readiness of Iranian forces to defend the nation’s sovereignty with unprecedented strength. He accused the United States and Israel of attempting to sow discord and weaken Iran’s internal cohesion, vowing that any such efforts would be met with uncompromising resistance. His remarks highlighted Tehran’s determination to protect its territorial integrity and political independence at all costs.

The Iranian Army echoed these sentiments, affirming that the assassination of Khamenei will not be left unanswered. The military reiterated its commitment to safeguarding Iran’s independence and territorial unity, signaling that the country is prepared for a prolonged confrontation if necessary. In a related statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) disclosed that it had targeted the MSP ship in the Indian Ocean, which was reportedly transporting ammunition destined for US naval vessels. Additionally, the IRGC claimed responsibility for an attack on the US naval base located in the Abdullah Mubarak area of Kuwait, further demonstrating Iran’s expanding scope of military operations.

On the other side of the conflict, US President Donald Trump responded to Tehran’s threats with a stern warning of his own. Posting on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump declared that any Iranian strike “harder than they have ever hit before” would be met with an unprecedented level of force, one “that has never been seen before.” His message served as a direct deterrent aimed at curbing further escalation, underscoring the seriousness with which the United States views the unfolding situation.

As tensions continue to rise between Iran and its adversaries, the international community watches closely, aware that the assassination of a figure as pivotal as Ayatollah Khamenei could trigger a new and volatile chapter in Middle Eastern geopolitics. The coming days are likely to reveal the full extent of Iran’s military response and the broader implications for regional stability.
