Tragedy struck near Gadani in the Hub area on Friday when two young men lost their lives while swimming in the sea. Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene following reports of the incident, highlighting the dangers of swimming in this coastal region.

Volunteers from the Edhi Foundation played a crucial role in the rescue operation, successfully recovering the body of one victim from the water. The deceased was identified as 24-year-old Hammad. Meanwhile, efforts to locate the second missing individual, 17-year-old Mohsin, continued as authorities intensified their search in the surrounding waters.

Following the recovery, Hammad’s body was transported to Gadani Civil Hospital to complete the necessary legal procedures. The presence of Gadani Police officials at the site underscored the seriousness of the situation and ensured that the rescue operation was coordinated effectively.

This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with swimming in open sea areas, especially near Gadani, which is known for its strong currents. Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution and avoid swimming in unsafe conditions to prevent further tragedies.
