    Pakistani Mountaineer Asma Mushtaq Passes Away During Spantik Descent

    Asma Mushtaq, a prominent Pakistani mountaineer, tragically lost her life after experiencing a medical emergency during her descent from Spantik, a challenging peak in the Karakoram range. Spantik, also known as Golden Peak, is renowned for its technical difficulty and altitude, attracting climbers worldwide. Mushtaq’s death underscores the inherent dangers faced by mountaineers who confront extreme weather and physical strain at high elevations.
