Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with General Rodolphe Haykal, Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces, to discuss mutual interests, regional developments, and ways to enhance bilateral defence cooperation. A well-disciplined Pakistan Army contingent presented a guard of honour to the visiting Lebanese military chief upon his arrival.
The discussions centered on boosting professional collaboration, increasing training exchanges, and strengthening institutional links between the armed forces of Pakistan and Lebanon. Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to deepening the longstanding fraternal relations and fostering closer defence ties.
