Aseefa Bhutto Zardari recently expressed her joy upon visiting Gilgit-Baltistan, emphasizing the pride the people of this region have consistently shown in representing Pakistan. She acknowledged the historical significance of the Bhutto family in championing the rights and democratic values of the nation, noting that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was instrumental in giving a voice to the marginalized, while Shaheed Benazir Bhutto made the ultimate sacrifice for democracy.

In a significant development, Aseefa highlighted that Bilawal Bhutto is steadfastly continuing Benazir Bhutto’s mission, carrying forward the legacy of public service and dedication to the people. She reiterated the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to securing a prosperous and bright future for the citizens of Gilgit-Baltistan, focusing on welfare and development as core priorities.

Addressing the political landscape, Aseefa Bhutto criticized rival leaders who tend to surface only during election periods, making promises but failing to follow through. In contrast, she praised Bilawal Bhutto for his consistent presence and support for the people throughout the year. She assured that the PPP is determined to enhance education and create employment opportunities for the youth of the region, reinforcing its pledge to advocate for the rights of all citizens.

Concluding her remarks, Aseefa urged the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to rally behind the PPP’s “arrow” symbol, describing it as a beacon of hope for the underprivileged and a true emblem of democratic values. This call to action underscores the party’s ongoing dedication to representing and uplifting the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
