The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) announced 94 vacancies in different departments on Friday and invited applications from eligible candidates. The recruitment advertisement was shared on the force’s official social media platforms and covers posts from Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 5 to 15.
Posts and eligibility for the NHMP recruitment drive
According to the advertisement, the open positions include:
- 80 Junior Patrol Officers (BPS-7)
- 3 Lower Division Clerks (BPS-5)
- 2 Paramedical Staff positions (BPS-7)
The NHMP said Pakistani citizens holding a domicile or local certificate of Balochistan are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted online through the National Jobs Portal within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
Ambulance collision on M-4 Motorway near Pindi Bhattian
Earlier, two people, including a patient and an ambulance driver, were killed and four others injured when an ambulance collided with a car near the Bhera Wala Interchange, rescue officials said.
The ambulance was taking a patient from Sukheke to Faisalabad for a medical check-up. According to Rescue 1122 officials, the collision was reportedly caused by the car driver’s negligence.
