Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized that the government is actively implementing measures aimed at reducing inflation and achieving sustainable economic stability. He highlighted that these efforts are ongoing and focused on long-term improvements.

Addressing the media, Aurangzeb clarified that the government’s strategy centers on strengthening tax enforcement and combating tax evasion rather than simply raising tax rates. The goal is to minimize the financial burden on citizens while reinforcing the economy’s foundation.

He noted that the initiatives to control inflation are beginning to yield positive outcomes. Aurangzeb also called for unity among political parties, urging them to prioritize the nation’s development over engaging in criticism for political gain.

In a significant development, the finance minister revealed that students are being sent to China and Australia to advance agricultural research and gain exposure to modern technologies and innovations in the sector. These efforts are expected to boost productivity and support sustained growth in agriculture.

Furthermore, Aurangzeb praised Pakistan’s diplomatic successes on the international stage, highlighting the country’s active role in easing regional tensions and fostering peace.

He concluded by stressing the importance of political cooperation to maintain economic stability and promote national progress, emphasizing that collective efforts are crucial to ensuring sustainable growth and providing relief to the public.
