    Field Marshal Asim Munir Highlights Modern Warfare Readiness in Quetta Visit

    Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, visited the Quetta Garrison, emphasizing the importance of preparedness to face the challenges posed by modern warfare. During his visit, he addressed officers and faculty members at the Command and Staff College, describing the institution as a beacon of advanced training, intellectual growth, and professional excellence.

    He called on officers and soldiers to continuously evolve in response to changing battlefield demands, emerging technologies, and multi-domain operations. Munir underscored that maintaining operational readiness and professional competence is essential in today’s dynamic security landscape. He stressed, “Sustaining high standards of professional excellence, preparedness, and operational superiority is imperative in the current era.”

    In addition to his address, the army chief met with officers and troops stationed in Balochistan, commending their morale and operational preparedness. He reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment, alongside the support of the Pakistani people, to eradicating terrorism from the country.

    Munir highlighted that Pakistan’s progress cannot be derailed by propaganda, misinformation, or terrorism sponsored from abroad. He warned that efforts to destabilize the nation through proxies and fake news are destined to fail.

    In a significant development, he emphasized that lasting peace and stability in Balochistan depend on public welfare, inclusive development, and enhanced governance. He acknowledged the provincial government’s initiatives aimed at socioeconomic progress and strengthening the relationship between the state and its citizens. Furthermore, he praised the security forces for their vital role in maintaining peace, stability, and state authority within the province.

    The army chief was welcomed upon arrival in Quetta by the Corps Commander Quetta, marking the beginning of his visit focused on operational excellence and regional stability.
