To this end, approximately 520 traffic officers will be strategically deployed across key roads, bustling commercial hubs, and popular recreational areas to maintain order and assist commuters.
Specialized traffic squads will be positioned along critical routes to provide real-time guidance and manage congestion effectively. Furthermore, dedicated help desks will be established within markets to offer support and information to shoppers navigating crowded areas. Recognizing the importance of community involvement, the ITP has also enlisted student volunteers to aid traffic personnel in promoting adherence to traffic regulations and reinforcing road safety awareness during this busy festive season.
