Bruce Willis Seen Cheerful in LA Amid Frontotemporal Dementia Fight

Bruce Willis was spotted enjoying a rare public appearance in Los Angeles on Wednesday, looking positive despite his ongoing struggle with frontotemporal dementia. The 71-year-old actor, known for his role in Die Hard, smiled warmly while seated in a car beside a friend who was driving him around the city.

Willis, who recently celebrated his birthday, dressed casually in a navy jacket over a grey t-shirt. In a significant development last year, his wife Emma Heming disclosed that he had relocated to a single-story home near their main residence, where he receives continuous care from a full-time team of caregivers.

Heming regularly visits Willis along with their two daughters, Mabel, 14, and Evelyn, 11. On the same day, Heming commemorated Mabel’s 14th birthday with heartfelt Instagram posts, including a nostalgic photo of Bruce kissing Mabel as a young child, captioned “in a blink of an eye!” She also shared a video of Mabel enjoying a boat ride, noting, “Mabel’s 14.”

Earlier, Heming marked Willis’s birthday with a sentimental Instagram tribute featuring him smiling by the water. She used the occasion to promote her newly established charity, The Emma & Bruce Willis Fund, which focuses on raising awareness about frontotemporal dementia, supporting research efforts, and aiding caregivers. She reflected on the experience, stating, “This journey with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) has opened my eyes to the realities so many families face.”
