In a tense moment on the opening day of the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Sylhet, fast bowler Hasan Ali was briefly sidelined after suffering a head injury scare. The incident occurred early in the game when Hasan attempted a return catch off Tanzid Hasan Tamim during the eighth over. While diving to his right, he appeared to lose his footing upon landing and immediately held his head in visible discomfort.

Medical personnel quickly rushed onto the field to assess the 31-year-old pacer’s condition. As a precaution, Hasan was escorted off the field to receive further evaluation, raising concerns among fans and teammates. Despite the scare, the team management took a cautious approach to his recovery, ensuring he was fit enough before returning to play.

Notably, Hasan Ali made a comeback in the 16th over, resuming his bowling duties later in the morning session. His return was carefully managed to avoid any further risk, reflecting the importance of player safety in the high-stakes environment of international cricket. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, who currently lead the two-match series 1-0, had opted to bat first and were positioned at 101 for 3 at the lunch break.

This incident highlights the physical demands and risks fast bowlers face during Test matches, where injuries can occur unexpectedly. Hasan Ali’s ability to return to the attack after such a scare demonstrates his resilience and commitment to the game as Pakistan looks to bounce back in this crucial fixture.
