The first post-Hajj flight carrying 370 Pakistani pilgrims arrived at Islamabad International Airport on Monday, signaling the commencement of the return journey for this year’s Hajj operation.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary welcomed the pilgrims upon their arrival, representing the government. He inquired about their travel experience and the facilities provided during their stay in the Holy Land.

Addressing the media, the minister highlighted that the returning pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for them throughout the pilgrimage. He emphasized that the government had implemented comprehensive measures to support pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, with feedback so far being predominantly positive.

Notably, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary stated that approximately 180,000 Pakistani pilgrims participated in Hajj this year, describing it as a source of national pride. He added that the successful execution of the Hajj operation was a testament to the coordinated efforts of all involved departments.

The minister also commended the dedication of the Hajj mission staff and airline authorities for facilitating the smooth return of pilgrims. Special provisions were arranged at airports nationwide to assist incoming Hajj flights, with particular attention given to elderly and ailing pilgrims to ensure their comfort and safety.
