The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Kuwait has announced the successful restoration of an additional overhead power transmission line that had been damaged by falling debris in the southern region of the country. This latest repair marks a significant milestone in Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to maintain and strengthen its national power infrastructure.

Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, the official spokesperson for the ministry, emphasized that the restoration work was carried out meticulously, adhering to the highest technical standards and stringent safety protocols. She highlighted that this recent accomplishment brings the total number of repaired transmission lines to eight, building upon the seven lines that had been previously restored and publicly disclosed. The ministry’s commitment to ensuring the reliability of the electrical network remains unwavering.

In addition to the technical achievements, Hayat reassured the public that the national power grid continues to operate in a stable condition. She also noted that specialized technical teams are on high alert and fully equipped to respond swiftly to any unforeseen emergencies or disruptions. The spokesperson took the opportunity to commend the dedication and tireless efforts of the country’s engineering and technical personnel, who have been working around the clock to enhance the resilience and stability of Kuwait’s electrical system.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Kuwait has expressed its concerns to neighboring Iraq regarding security issues linked to attacks originating from Iraqi territory. The Iraqi Foreign Ministry confirmed that during a meeting held on Sunday, Kuwait’s ambassador conveyed information suggesting that some hostile actions targeting Kuwait were launched from within Iraq’s borders. These concerns are tied to the broader regional tensions involving Iran, with Kuwait presenting detailed evidence to Iraqi officials about the source of these attacks.

This diplomatic exchange underscores the complex security dynamics in the Gulf region, where infrastructure and national security are increasingly intertwined. Kuwait’s proactive communication with Iraq reflects its determination to address these challenges through dialogue and cooperation. As Kuwait continues to fortify its critical infrastructure, it also remains vigilant against external threats that could impact its stability and safety.
