    Barrister Gohar Highlights Political Impact of ‘Imran Khan Release Force’ and Calls for Unity

    Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has emphasized the need for all political parties to unite in order to foster a healthier political environment in the country. Speaking outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Tuesday, he underscored the importance of strengthening Pakistan’s national defense while calling for a collective effort to improve the overall political landscape. His remarks come amid ongoing discussions surrounding the controversial ‘Imran Khan Release Force,’ a development that the PTI leadership believes could have significant political repercussions.

    Addressing the media, Barrister Gohar revealed that the PTI harbors certain reservations regarding the formation and activities of the so-called ‘Imran Khan Release Force.’ He explained that internal consultations have been held within the party to carefully assess the situation, particularly because such moves could influence the political dynamics at both provincial and national levels. He also pointed out that the Chief Minister maintains regular communication with the party leadership on matters related to the province, ensuring transparency and coordination within PTI ranks.

    Turning to the role of the judiciary, Barrister Gohar acknowledged the Supreme Court’s position as the ultimate arbiter of justice in Pakistan. However, he expressed concern over the fact that even political figures who have secured overwhelming public support—citing an example of a leader who received 30 million votes—have struggled to obtain fair treatment through legal channels. This observation highlighted the challenges faced by political actors in securing justice and the urgent need for reforms to ensure the judiciary functions impartially and effectively.

    In addition to political and judicial issues, Barrister Gohar touched upon the health condition of PTI’s founder, Imran Khan. He stressed the importance of keeping the founder’s family fully informed about his medical status, questioning why there should be any hesitation in involving them in decisions related to his treatment. The PTI chairman recounted that the party was initially informed about an injection administered to Imran Khan but did not have direct communication with the medical professionals overseeing his care. Subsequently, they were told that the former prime minister had been returned to jail and that his health was stable, though the lack of transparency raised concerns within the party.

    Most importantly, Barrister Gohar made it clear that PTI remains firmly committed to upholding democratic principles. He categorically rejected any notion that the party would resort to unconstitutional methods to secure the release of its leader. Instead, PTI insists on pursuing legal avenues to achieve this goal, emphasizing respect for the rule of law. At the same time, the party intends to maintain its vocal presence across various platforms, including public demonstrations, to continue advocating for its cause and ensuring that the voice of its supporters is heard loud and clear.

    In conclusion, Barrister Gohar’s statements reflect a cautious but determined approach by PTI as it navigates complex political challenges. The call for unity among political parties, combined with a firm stance on democracy and legal processes, signals the party’s desire to address Pakistan’s political issues responsibly while safeguarding the interests of its leadership and supporters. As the situation evolves, all eyes remain on how these developments will shape the country’s political future.
