Silver eases as dealers watch global cues
Silver has been more volatile. It retreated on Tuesday after its rise a day earlier, tracking softer global rates and sensitivity to industrial demand from the solar and electronics sectors.
Participants said local bullion remains closely tied to global rates and the rupee’s movement against the dollar. Jewellery, wedding-season and investment demand still affect intraday prices, though their impact has diminished at very high price levels.
For now, dealers and analysts are watching US data, Federal Reserve guidance, global geopolitics and the dollar’s trend. The market is described as consolidating after much larger price swings through 2026.
