Six Militants Killed in Panjgur Intelligence-Based Operation: ISPR

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan targeting militants associated with an Indian proxy group identified as “Fitna al-Hindustan,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced.

During the operation, multiple militant hideouts were engaged, resulting in a firefight that led to the deaths of six terrorists. Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were seized from the deceased militants, who were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region.

The operation was initiated following intelligence reports about the presence of militants operating in the area. Coordinated strikes on several locations culminated in the elimination of the suspects, who were actively involved in sabotage and unrest within the district.

Sanitisation efforts are ongoing to remove any remaining militant elements. The counter-terrorism campaign, conducted under the national framework “Azm-e-Istehkam,” continues vigorously across the country.

The military reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating foreign-backed militancy and ensuring lasting peace and stability in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan.
