Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, paid a visit to the National University of Technology (NUTECH) on Thursday to evaluate the university’s academic advancements, research activities, and overall institutional development.

During the visit, the governor received a comprehensive briefing on NUTECH’s identity as a “University for Industry.” Presentations highlighted the university’s academic offerings, applied research projects, and both national and international partnerships designed to foster skills-based education tailored to meet industrial demands.

Mandokhail commended the university’s dedication to producing graduates equipped with skills that align with the country’s developmental goals and technological progress. He urged NUTECH to increase opportunities for students from Balochistan and to further cultivate a research-driven academic culture.

The governor toured several key facilities, including NUTECH’s state-of-the-art laboratories, the National Skills and Development Department (NSDD), the NUTECH Innovation Centre (NIC), and the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Centre (NEIC).

In a significant development, the visit concluded with a focus on enhancing collaboration in higher education, innovation, and capacity building initiatives aimed at empowering youth throughout Pakistan.
