Pakistan Security Forces Neutralize 15 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

Pakistan’s security apparatus has successfully eliminated 15 terrorists linked to Indian sponsorship during two meticulously planned intelligence-based operations in the restive province of Balochistan. These operations underscore the ongoing commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces to dismantle militant networks that threaten national security and stability in the region.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) disclosed that these operations took place on March 5, 2026, targeting terrorist hideouts in two separate districts of Balochistan. The first operation was launched in the Harnai district following credible intelligence about the presence of militants in the area. Security forces swiftly moved to engage the hostile elements, resulting in a fierce gun battle that culminated in the elimination of twelve terrorists who were reportedly receiving support and direction from Indian intelligence agencies.

Simultaneously, another intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Basima district. Here, security personnel tracked down a group of militants using a combination of surveillance and tactical maneuvers. The ensuing firefight saw three terrorists neutralized, with security forces recovering a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. These militants were actively involved in orchestrating violent activities aimed at destabilizing the region.

Following these successful engagements, security forces have intensified sanitization efforts to root out any remaining terrorists affiliated with foreign sponsors in the affected areas. These operations form part of a broader, relentless counter-terrorism campaign known as ‘Azm-e-Istehkam,’ which was endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. This campaign represents a unified and sustained effort by Pakistan’s military and law enforcement agencies to eradicate terrorism fueled and supported by external actors.

The ISPR emphasized that the security forces remain steadfast in their mission to eliminate all threats posed by foreign-backed militants. This resolve is crucial in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and ensuring peace and security for its citizens. The recent operations in Balochistan highlight the effectiveness of intelligence-led actions and the dedication of Pakistan’s security personnel in confronting and neutralizing terrorism at its roots.
