The Punjab government has invited applications for new licences to open agricultural medicine shops, part of a scheme aimed at strengthening the province’s farm sector. A public notice from the Agriculture Department said applications are being accepted through the eBiz Punjab online portal.
Training dates and how to apply
The initiative covers two categories: training for new licences from 6 to 12 November 2026, and training for licence renewals from 6 to 8 November 2026. Applicants have been advised to submit their applications online through the official portal.
Support for farmers and district contacts
The scheme is meant to help eligible applicants obtain the training and licences needed to run shops that supply farmers with crop protection products. Training is being held at district level, and a helpline is available for more information. Applicants should contact the director or deputy director of their district.
