Pakistan Forces Successfully Repel Taliban Attacks in Balochistan and KP Amid Ongoing Operations

Pakistani security forces have once again demonstrated their resilience and tactical prowess by repelling a series of coordinated Taliban attacks across northern Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The militants launched ground assaults and fire raids targeting multiple strategic locations, but the determined response from Pakistan’s military and paramilitary units has inflicted significant losses on the insurgents.

In northern Balochistan, the Taliban initiated ground offensives at 16 different points, including critical districts such as Qila Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman. Alongside these direct assaults, the militants also carried out fire raids on 25 additional sites, aiming to destabilize the region and weaken Pakistani forces. However, under the umbrella of Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, the Pakistani forces successfully thwarted all these attacks. The Federal Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, confirmed that 27 Taliban fighters were killed and numerous others injured during the fierce confrontations. Tragically, the operation also saw the martyrdom of one Frontier Corps soldier from Balochistan North, with five others wounded while defending their posts.

Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Taliban attempted a ground assault at one location and launched fire raids at 12 other points. These attempts were met with robust resistance and were effectively repelled without any casualties on the Pakistani side. Overnight operations in KP resulted in the deaths of 40 Afghan Taliban militants, further underscoring the effectiveness of the ongoing military campaign. Minister Tarar emphasized that follow-up operations are continuing to ensure that militant threats are completely neutralized.

In response to the Taliban’s aggression, Pakistani forces have not only defended their territory but have also taken the fight across the border. The Pakistan Air Force conducted precision airstrikes in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, targeting and destroying ammunition depots and drone storage facilities used by the Taliban and allied extremist groups. These air operations also successfully struck the Khogani base in Nangarhar province, delivering a heavy blow to the insurgents’ operational capabilities.

Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq has so far yielded substantial results. A total of 435 militants have been killed, with 630 more injured. The Taliban have lost control over 188 checkpoints, while Pakistani forces have managed to capture 31 enemy posts. Additionally, the operation has seen the destruction of 188 tanks and armored vehicles belonging to the militants. Airstrikes have been carried out at 51 different locations across Afghanistan, significantly disrupting Taliban logistics and command structures.

This ongoing operation highlights Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its national borders and maintaining internal security. By aggressively countering Taliban incursions and launching targeted strikes against militant infrastructure, Pakistan aims to restore peace and stability in the border regions. The success of these efforts reflects the dedication of Pakistan’s armed forces and their resolve to eliminate threats posed by extremist groups operating in and around the country.
