Security forces successfully eliminated five terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al Hindustan during an intelligence-driven operation in Panjgur district, Balochistan, on August 10. This action forms part of an ongoing counter-terrorism campaign targeting foreign-backed militant groups.
Following the operation, a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was recovered from the site. The seized materials were destroyed to prevent further threats, and sanitisation efforts were conducted to ensure the area was cleared of any remaining dangers.
Security agencies, under the directive of the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, continue to pursue counter-terrorism measures through the initiative named “Azm-e-Istehkam.” This campaign aims to eradicate foreign-supported terrorism from the country with sustained intensity.
Authorities have pledged to maintain the momentum of these operations to safeguard national security and eliminate militant threats effectively.
