In a tragic incident on Monday evening, two members of the Eagle Squad lost their lives in a targeted gun attack in Quetta. The attack took place on the Eastern Bypass, a key area under the jurisdiction of the Abdul Khaliq Shaheed police station, specifically near the Shahwani Road link.

The Eagle Squad, known for its specialized operations against crime and terrorism, has been a critical unit in maintaining law and order in the region. This attack highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in Quetta, a city that has witnessed frequent violence in recent years.

Following the attack, the bodies of the two fallen officers were promptly transported to Civil Hospital Quetta for necessary legal and forensic procedures. Authorities have launched investigations to identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind this brazen assault.

Meanwhile, security forces have increased their presence in the area to prevent further incidents and to reassure the public. The loss of these officers underscores the risks faced by those combating crime and militancy in volatile regions.
