Gold Prices in Pakistan Rise as Tola Rate Sees Uptick

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight increase in both domestic and international markets. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of gold per tola in the local market climbed by Rs300, reaching Rs427,736.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs257, settling at Rs366,714. On the international front, gold prices edged higher by $3, reaching $4,053 per ounce.

This rise follows a significant drop in the previous trading session, where the price per tola fell sharply by Rs4,600 to Rs427,436. Market analysts noted that investors continue to view gold as a safe-haven asset amid ongoing economic uncertainties, which sustains demand for the precious metal.

In a significant development, experts highlighted that gold prices may climb further if global geopolitical tensions and economic concerns persist. However, they cautioned that price fluctuations remain possible, especially if the US dollar strengthens or if there are changes in global monetary policies.

Investors were advised to carefully observe both local and international market trends before making decisions to buy or sell gold, as even small shifts in the global economic landscape can substantially influence prices.
