Trump Criticizes US Media Amid Rising Tensions with Iran

US President Donald Trump has intensified his criticism of prominent American news organizations amid escalating tensions with Iran, accusing them of distorting facts and minimizing the strength of the US military. In a detailed social media statement, Trump asserted that even if Iran were to fully surrender and admit defeat to the United States, some media outlets would still depict Tehran as the winner.

He singled out major publications such as The New York Times, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal, labeling them as “fake news media” and claiming they have lost public trust. Trump emphasized that the US military had inflicted significant damage on Iran’s naval and air forces, and that the Iranian leadership had been weakened as a result of the conflict.

Meanwhile, he accused these media organizations of harboring bias against him and refusing to acknowledge what he described as American achievements in the confrontation. This statement comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate, with Trump recently warning that “the clock is ticking” for Iran amid stalled diplomatic efforts and nuclear negotiations.

In a significant development, Trump’s remarks have further polarized the political landscape in the United States. Critics argue that his rhetoric is intensifying an already volatile situation in the region, raising concerns about the potential for further escalation.
