In a significant development on Tuesday, a ballistic missile reportedly launched from Iran struck an administrative telecommunications building in the emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The targeted facility is operated by Thuraya Telecommunications Company, a prominent UAE-based satellite communications provider that plays a crucial role in regional connectivity across the Middle East and beyond.

The missile strike resulted in injuries to two Pakistani nationals who were present at the site. Emergency services promptly transported the injured individuals to a local hospital, where they are currently receiving medical care. Authorities have confirmed that both patients are in stable condition following the incident.

Officials in Sharjah have launched a thorough investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the missile strike. Given the strategic importance of the Thuraya facility for telecommunications infrastructure, the incident has raised concerns about regional security and the potential impact on communication networks.

Meanwhile, authorities have appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely solely on official statements for updates. The situation remains under close monitoring as investigations continue to unfold.
